The Glacier Puffer is constructed with a high-tenacity 40D Ripstop face fabric, engineered for a "low-noise" signature during movement. Unlike standard technical shells that feel rigid in freezing temperatures, this textile utilizes a Matte-Polymer Coating that maintains a supple, soft-touch hand-feel even at -20°C. The interior features a low-friction satin lining to facilitate effortless layering over wool or fleece mid-layers.

Solving the Friction

Traditional heavy puffers often create "bulk-drag," limiting arm mobility and causing the hem to ride up. We have solved this with Articulated Sleeve Architecture and a Drop-Tail Hem, ensuring the jacket stays mapped to the body during reaching or climbing. To address the "moisture-trap" friction of heavy winter activity, the baffle system is designed with Vapor-Permeable Channels, allowing internal perspiration to escape without compromising the external waterproof barrier.
